Meet the Photographer

Hey, my name is Dylan!

Why I Love Photography

My love for photography comes from my grandpa. Throughout my mom’s entire childhood, he took the most gorgeous photos. Back then, he worked out of a darkroom and had a strong desire to create. His main model was my grandma, and she was never one to be shy in front of the camera.

Seeing my mom’s memories captured in such an artistic way has inspired me for years. Being able to capture memories for others is a dream come true for me. I get to hear the laughter and capture it in real time.

My Process

This begins with you. What image do you have in your head when you think about your photos? Do you have any inspiration you want to share? This gives me a starting point for the type of poses and angles you are looking for. For storytelling sessions, this step is essential.

Next, we find the perfect location. If you already have one in mind, even better. I am always willing to travel.

During our session, I like to make jokes. I was raised by New Yorkers, so I can be loud. I love to not only tell my clients how to pose, but also show them myself. I will never ask you to sit in dirt I would not sit in, or frolic in water that is too cold for me. I am not generally a graceful person, but I promise I am not a klutz.

A Few More Details

Originally from Colorado, I am a 22-year-old chatterbox who loves art. Growing up, I was surrounded by it, from hand-drawn art by my mom to photography taken by my grandpa. I was exposed to creativity at a very young age.

Throughout my life, I have always had a massive love for music, theatre, and photography. My early work came from the days when my best friend and I would dedicate entire afternoons to taking photos of each other just for fun. After obtaining a DSLR camera for a college course, I knew I wanted to do this as my job.
